From my first meeting with Molly Winter Fitness, I knew I had met someone who would be fun and also kick my butt. During the 5 months leading up to my wedding, Molly kept me motivated during our sessions and beyond. Our workouts always targeted my goals, and she also paid close attention to any injuries / pain I had, and provided modifications that were just as challenging.
I loved how varied my workouts were and how I was able to advance as I got better - my workouts got progressively harder as I got stronger! (I never thought I'd look forward to a plank being the "rest" part of a workout.) HIIT workouts are so hard to even wrap your mind around, but they are worth the pain! Getting to the point where I could make it through the hardest HIIT workouts and see my waist shrink was the most rewarding part.
Molly also kept our workouts fun, and I felt like I was just hanging out with a friend -- a friend who makes your work your booty off! She is also the absolute sweetest and one of the easiest people to talk to.... she quickly became one of my favorite people to vent to about wedding planning drama, lol. Trust me, you will see the results when you put on your wedding dress for your final fitting!

I worked with Elizabeth Rosbottom to design a completely custom wedding dress and veil. Although I've always been thin and fitness is a part of my everyday lifestyle, it was important that I achieve muscle definition, particularly in my arms & back, and be in my best possible shape in my wedding dress. In addition to my twice-weekly sessions with Molly, she also designed a personal calendar for me to follow that specified what kind of workout to complete on days we didn't meet that included strength training, high-intensity cardio, yoga, and flexibility.
I starting training early in the year leading up to my wedding. One of the most challenging parts was not burning out - Molly designed a personalized program that progressed in a way that was challenging and attainable. Had I stuck to working out on my own or just taking large group classes, I would not have made the same level of progress. The most valuable aspect of working with Molly was her attention to detail and proper form in our warm-ups & workouts - she corrected a lot of small mistakes to help me stay injury-free that I had never noticed before. Molly is extremely focused & professional - she is also kind to everyone and fun! I want to hang out with her outside of work - she is that kind of person.

I felt fantastic on my wedding day and LOVED the way I looked in my dress!
I met with Molly before signing on to train, and felt that she both understood my goals and knew how to get me there - without sacrificing too much! (I love food and wanted to continue to eat normally, although I did cut out alcohol.) I had a very busy schedule and being accountable to Molly kept me on track.
Molly is outgoing, thoughtful, and caring - all qualities that I valued in a personal trainer who has to be tough at times, but also knows what's best for you and when it's too much (or too little!) I loved that our sessions always felt like I was working out with an old friend; she took an interest in my life and even the hardest exercises seemed to go by quickly because of the rapport Molly built with me. I had a few health issues during my training and Molly redesigned my workouts to accommodate me, which I truly appreciated.
Before I started training with MWF I was NOT a fan of cardio, but found the HIIT workouts I did with Molly were ultimately the most rewarding (yes, even the burpees). Building strength in my upper body was hard since I had not spent a lot of time on that in the past, but all those army planks got easier as my program progressed, and I started to look forward to my sessions as part of my routine.

I made so many changes that made me feel absolutely AMAZING on my wedding day! I lost over 8 inches and 8 pounds, and really toned my arms and back and shoulders - exactly what I set out to do! The most challenging aspect of training with Molly was the number of burpees she worked into our program (although now, I will say, as much as I despised them they were EXTREMELY helpful in achieving my goals!)
My best friend worked with MWF before her wedding and she looked unbelievable; the most valuable part about working with Molly was that she understood me. She tailored our workouts perfectly to my goals and also my abilities, and every workout was just hard enough that I was able to do it, but still needed to really push myself. When I wanted to give up, she knew exactly how to push me to keep going. She was AWESOME.

Goals: "Get out of my regular routine, build my cardio endurance, feel more confident and come back stronger after a foot injury."
Timetable: 3 MONTHS Frequency: 2 MWF Sessions/Week, +weekly pilates and ballet classes Wedding Gown: Amsale, "Reed" gown I wanted to get into shape for my wedding after a foot injury had me pretty sedentary for a couple months. I've had a lot of dance training throughout my life, so my go-to is dance and pilates to get "in shape", but I knew I had to be careful and not re-injure myself, and I was looking for something different and more personalized that might get me out of my comfort zone and old habits.
Molly was just what I needed: Super motivating, patient, knowledgeable, and fun. She helped me move beyond my comfort zone, and the one-on-one attention was unparalled: I worked harder knowing that Molly had her eyes on my form and techinque all the time. I made progress in a way that felt healthy, and I hit my goals in a way that was even better than I had imagined: I felt stronger, my endurance improved, AND I actually caught myself really looking forward to the sessions where we'd be doing the things I'm typically most intimidated by (HIIT/Cardio). Molly is amazing!!! Absolutely amazing. Pure fitness perfection. Calm, patient, tough (in just the right way), funny (so important!) and genuine. All I can say is that Molly is a dream trainer and person - I couldn't have asked for a better match or better results. I felt incredible on my wedding day, and my dress fit perfectly. :)
There are not a lot of training programs that cater to wedding prep in the personalized manner that Molly does. Her background in dance as well as her understanding of injury was extremely important given that I suffer from some ailments that required a lot of exercise modification during my program with her. She knows exactly how to push you enough to the point where it would be hard to push yourself that much on your own, but under the point where you feel utterly exhausted or strained. She would even customize depending on what kind of mental or physical state I was in, which fluctuated with the many demands of my job.
I had never had so much strength in my arms until I started training with Molly, which was a huge goal of mine! Seeing changes actually take place during our time together was so rewarding I felt and looked stronger. I made a large amount of physical progress in a way that felt healthy AND challenging.

For years I never wore tank tops or anything that showed my arms off. I happen to fall in love with a strapless dress so not liking my arms was not an option! I told my Maid of Honor all I wanted was to feel comfortable and amazing with my arms out - and that's just how I felt. The day of my wedding I couldn't have felt more beautiful. I actually never saw myself in a mirror that day, but every picture I saw the next day looked amazing. In fact, I never though them once on the wedding day - my favorite picture is actually one with my arms front and center! I achieved the goals I had set, AND felt so confident and healthy the day of my wedding.
I wanted someone dedicated to me and my progress, and after reading reviews and meeting Molly in person, I knew she would be able to get me to where I needed to be. The most valuable elements for me were the progress measurements that kept me focused, and Molly's continual encouragement. She didn't let me slack, but she isn't mean! It was the perfect combination of toughness and support that I needed. It wasn't easy - honestly, the most challenging part for me was not losing hope that my arms would change! Grueling workouts felt harder when I didn't see progress every day. But they were also rewarding, because over time I could actually see how fit I was getting. I'm competitive by nature, and honestly it was exciting to notice when I was at peak performance in my group classes.
My program felt so customized to me and my abilities. Every session, Molly would change my workout based on my progress and accomplishments, and she was also able to make quick modifications if I came in sore, sick, or tired. (Because - life!) Molly got to know my limits and how to push me past them - she knew when I was slacking off, and when I truly had pushed past my abilities. We also got to know each other really well; sessions flew by when we were catching up about our weeks. She was always so bubbly and energetic, and has a talent for remembering all the details I would share about my bridesmaids and wedding excitement. I truly miss working out with her every week!

Working with Molly for my wedding was the best thing I did during the whole wedding planning process, hands down. It was the one part of my day that was actually about me and my health, and not about flowers, caterers or other drama. I felt amazing on my wedding day - it was so rewarding to put on my dress! Overall, I lost 25 pounds and lost belly fat in an incredible way.
I lost the weight not through crash dieting but slowly and steadily - I am so happy with the way I look now.In the past, I liked to work out but was never consistent. Now I don't feel like myself if I don't sweat everyday. I decided to work with Molly because I needed someone to kick my butt with workouts and get me motivated! Molly is fun and bubbly, and I felt like she understood exactly what I wanted to achieve in the time I had when we first met. I looked forward to our sessions every week - she kept me going even if I was having a bad day, stressed, or didn't want to work out. Molly gave me a lot of confidence in my abilities and never made me feel like I was failing. Molly's "fun + hardcore + positive" personality was incredible motivating. Her easy-going personality is great, especially for brides who are already under a lot of stress and pressure. It was a gasp of fresh air to see her, rather than a pain to see someone who would yell and scream that I needed to work harder. Also, Molly is in great shape, which served as my daily "in person" evidence that my efforts would pay off. :)

Before I met Molly, I was going to the gym but not seeing results. I wanted to change my body for my wedding and I needed an expert - Molly! She was a pleasure to work with. wonderful to work with - very sweet and motivating. She quickly realized in training that I am a visual learner - which I didn’t really know about myself - and performed a lot of exercises with me to make sure I stayed on track. I made progress that felt healthy and achieved my physical goals, and really valued that she came prepared with so many different workouts that DID change my body, many of which I can now do on my own. My schedule is busy, and Molly was prompt, organized, and didn't waste time.
